Before you travel
Documents
Having the right documents is essential to a worry-free trip.
You will also need:
- Your boarding pass (or a copy of your ticket)
- Valid photo ID
The required documents can vary depending on a number of factors.

When booking a flight, please use the following name format:
Please enter your full name as it appears exactly on the identification document that you are presenting at the airport for check-in, immigration or boarding.
- The passenger’s name on the booking must match the name on the Aadhaar or other acceptable identification.
- For international travellers, use your full name as it appears on your passport.
You will not be allowed to board or enter the airport if the name on your identification does not match that of the booking.
Please follow these instructions if you do not have a last or first name or if you would like to know the format of names for each country.
