Will the parking provider take pictures of my car and note the mileage?

Accepted Answer

The parking provider should record the mileage on the car and take pictures of the car when you arrive. If they fail to do so we recommend that you request them to. As an additional precaution, you can take pictures and record the mileage yourself. Recording the mileage and taking pictures is a good precaution and will avoid any disputes if there is damage to your car when you return.

Will my car be driven while I am away?

Certain parking providers may require you to hand in your keys when you park with them. In certain circumstances, these parking providers may move your car. However, you can be assured that this only happens in limited situations and it will only be for a good reason. We recommend that you note the mileage on your car (if the parking provider does not) so you can be sure that your car has not been driven while you were away.

What should I do if my car gets damaged when I am away?

Our parking providers are of high quality and pride themselves on their security so it is highly unlikely that your car will sustain damage. However, if your car does sustain damage while parked we advise you to take pictures of it and report it to the parking provider. You should also contact us and report the damage to us. We recommend that before leaving your car you take several pictures of your car. This means that you have proof that the damage was not already present on your vehicle prior to parking it.

Where will my car be parked?

Accepted Answer

Where your car gets parked depends on the parking provider and parking form that you have chosen. If you choose valet parking your car will be parked for you by a parking attendant in a secure parking location. If you choose shuttle parking you park your car yourself in the designated parking space. We recommend that before leaving that you take pictures of your car and note its location. This is a good safety precaution and also ensures that you remember where you parked your car!

Yes, at ParkCare we only work with reliable parking providers so you can be assured that all of the parking spaces on offer are safe and secure.
